Field Application Engineer

1. Early engineering involvement for new project development through NPI to mass production2. Drive day-to-day activities to meet overall project objectives3. Create and maintain project schedules4. Possess strong presentation skills5. Collaborate and facilitate communication across PM, engineering, quality, operations managers, to meet very aggressive cost, schedule, and quality goals.6. Lead multi-functional communication between project teams and customers7. Provide timely issue resolution and critical path management8. Work with PM to establish pricing strategy9. Present FAI/Cpk data, PPAP report to customers and coordinate new part approval10. Understand technical issues and drive them to closure by bringing together key partners for decision making11. Work as a team to handle quality issues, rework from warehouse or assembly line as requiredRequirements1. Education: M.S. in Engineering (ME is preferred)2. Plastic tooling design knowledge, Metal Injection Molding experience is a plus3. Knowledge in system level (computer, consumer electronics and communication) is a plus4. Detailed knowledge of product development processes as well as a strong understanding of manufacturing processes5. Excellent communication, organizational and leadership skills6. Ability to filter and distill relevant information for the right audience7. Self motivated and proactive with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities8. Ability to travel internationally (30%+).Other Requirements:1. Familiar with Window and CAD software, experience and knowledge in CFD software (thermal and aerodynamics) is a plus2. Language: English, bilingual (Chinese) preferred3. Good interpersonal communication skills, self motivated, team player
