Apply Description Company Overview: GreenPower Motor Company, Inc. (GreenPower) is a leading manufacturer and distributor of purpose-built, all-electric, zero emission medium and heavy-duty vehicles serving the cargo and delivery market, shuttle and transit space and the school bus sector. Brief Description: A Project Manager with GreenPower is responsible to the successful initiation, planning and execution of various projects. The role of project manager encompasses many activities including planning and defining project scopes, developing and status of project schedules, resource planning, and developing a project budget. As a member of the Project Management Team, this person will collaborate with multiple departments and deliver consistent and effective communication. This position requires high level critical thinking, conceptualization, implementation skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast pace environment. * Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects. * Ensure that all projects are delivering a quality product on-time, within scope, and within budget. * Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility. * Ensure resource availability and allocation. * Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress. * Manage project performance using appropriate tools and techniques. * Report and communicate to management as needed. * Perform risk management duties to minimize project risks. * Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors. * Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation. * Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project. * Strong ability to take immediate action on resolving project issues in a timely manner. * Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals. * Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to meet business needs. Requirements GreenPower is seeking an organized, diligent individual who will contribute to the efficiency of the company's growing team. * 1 or more years of project management experience in the automotive industry preferred. * Bachelor of Science Degree in manufacturing, electrical, industrial, or mechanical engineering. * Excellent verbal communication and written skills. * Excellent analytical, problem solving, and organization skills. * Highly organized, strongly self-motivated, with the ability to multi-task with shifting priorities. * Demonstrated ability to coordinate matrixed resources and drive measurable results. * Ability to learn company specific system to track deadlines, submittals, and follow-up. * Computer skills using MS Office Suite, GSuite. * Excellent interpersonal and telephone skills are required. * Ability to travel as necessary. Physical Requirements: Considerable physical activity with prolonged periods of sitting and computer work. May require handling of objects that can weigh up to 25 lbs. Working Environment: Work is normally performed in a interior/office work environment. Other environments may include: warehouse, vehicles and outdoors. Compensation and Benefits: Compensation for the position will be in the range of $65,000 to $70,000 per year. GreenPower Motor Company offers benefits including health/dental/vision/prescription drug plan, flexible benefits plan, 401K retirement plant, life and disability benefits, paid holidays and paid vacation. Salary Description: $65,000 to $70,000 per year.
