Report to: Truck Shop ForemanWork Hours: 12:00 p.m. to 10 p.m.; Monday - Thursday; Overtime and Saturday work will be required occasionally. Summary: Inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain passenger, light, medium, and heavy-duty trucks. Repair and maintain equipment and machines related/associated/mounted to trucks.Goals: Work diligently and with a positive attitude to maintain Igel and DBM fleet vehicles. Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment. Be willing to work with and alongside teammates to accomplish tasks. Duties:Diagnose and repair all electrical and mechanical systems.Identify and record parts and/or part numbers needed for repairs and report them to the parts department.Utilize scan tool to retrieve diagnostic trouble codes, and utilize bi-directional functions to perform system tests, calibrations, regens, etc.Utilize shop repair software to assist in diagnosis and repair of vehicles. Utilize tablets to create and complete work orders.Keep shop facility and personal workspaces clean and free of clutter. Perform annual DOT inspections.Other duties as assigned. Qualifications:A CDL will be considered preferred, but is not required.Must be willing to obtain CDL within six months of date of hire. Must be able to pass a drug testGeorge J.
