Property Maintenance TechnicianProperty Maintenance Technician Job SummaryWe are seeking an energetic, motivated individual to join our property management company as a Property Maintenance Technician. In this role, you will address common maintenance issues across multiple properties, performing repairs and installations as well as recommending subcontractors for serious infrastructural projects. You must be able to address a host of common property issues, such as electrical, plumbing, and heating. Our ideal candidate has several years of professional experience in property management and maintenance, along with reliable transportation and a flexible schedule to respond to emergencies as they arise.Property Maintenance Technician Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform routine and scheduled maintenance across multiple propertiesPerform repairs, installations of fixtures and appliances, and replacement of damaged systemsDiagnose and repair problems with building heat, electricity, and water systemsLocate competitive subcontractors for major projectsBe on-call to respond to emergency issuesProperty Maintenance Technician Requirements and QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED certificate preferred Vocational or trade school certification preferredHVAC certifications and/or extensive knowledge a plus Comprehensive knowledge of plumbing, heating, HVAC, and electrical systemsReliable transportation, valid driver's license and no negative points on driving recordPhysical ability to bend, crouch, and lift objects throughout the workday
