Responsible for understanding, upholding, and promoting the Everus 4EVER Strategy:EmployeesValueExecutionRelationships JOB SUMMARYThe Field Service Technician is responsible for performing equipment commissioning, modifications, repairs & troubleshooting, inspections to a wide range of ISG equipment located at a variety of customers project sites. Including, but not limited to, VFD's, Analytical skids, Remote I/O Panels, PLC Panels, CMS Panels & Power Control Centers. Technicians may travel to project sites throughout the US. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSA working knowledge of UL 508 A Code and Variable Frequency Drivers (VFD's) at a level normally acquired through completion of a High School diploma or related field or equivalent experience; andTwo years' experience in Field ServiceTwo years' experience in Control Panel ManufacturingKEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIESWorking knowledge of UL 508A code.Working knowledge of Variable Frequency Drivers (VFD's)Ability to understand a wide range of schematics and specificationsHigh-level ability to test, troubleshoot, live voltage testing, service, and repair Industrial Control PanelsAbility to adapt and prioritize dynamic work schedulesStrong organizational skills, attention to detail, technical problem-solving skillsFamiliar with mobile devices and applicationsExcellent written and oral communication skillsJOB RESPONSIBILITIESCommissioning, warranty repairs, troubleshooting and support pertaining to Industrial Control PanelsAccurately and independently perform repairs, panel modifications, commissioning, and other tasks at customer locationsProgramming and commissioning Variable Frequency Drivers (VFD's)Short periods of travel for field service supportAbility to manufacture electrical control panels from start to finishProduce detailed service reportsRed line / correct drawings in the field for changesSupport Control Panel Manufacturing and/or Quality Control department when not in the FieldPerform additional duties as assignedCOMPENSATION & BENEFITSOffering: $20 - $29.28 per hourHealth coverage, flex plan and retirement benefits per local union agreement60 hours of PTO after 90 days 7 company paid holidays after 90 daysOTHER REQUIREMENTSRequired to maintain a valid driver's licenseDue to the need for unescorted access to security sensitive business locations and/or systems, must submit to periodic background checksMay be required to submit to periodic background checks if position requires access to security sensitive business locations and/or systemsRequires travel: Moderate (up to 25%) after training periodADDITIONAL INFORMATIONBackground check and drug screen required Minorities/Females/Disabled/VeteransEEO/AAPAPPLICATION DEADLINE - 10/25/2024BUILD YOUR CAREER WITH ISG!The ISG motto of "Be the Best" is reflected in all aspects of our company from "Safety First!" to ensuring we are the providing the highest quality products for our customers.
