We are looking for a Tax Supervisor to join our Tax Department in our New York office. As a Tax Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing excellent client service. Responsibilities, but not limited to: * Prepares and reviews tax returns, extensions, and projections for various clients (C-Corp, S-Corp, Partnership, Individual, Trust) * Knowledge of Federal and State tax law * Perform tax research to resolve issues * Maintain frequent contact with client and handle day-to-day client relationship issues * Build relationships with clients and staff Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; Masters in Taxation preferred * 5+ years of professional experience, preferably in a mid-size public accounting firm * CPA or (in progress) preferred * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Must have excellent client service skills * Highly motivated * Responsive to clients * Outstanding analytical, organizational and project management skills * Knowledge of CCH Axcess and Go File Room is a plus * Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, citizenship, age, disability, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
