Sacramento, California - 2024-10-17 We seek a Field Engineer to join our dedicated and talented team in a traveling role, providing hardware swaps and related technical services to a national customer base. FIELD ENGINEERS AT TSP TYPICALLY HAVE THE FOLLOWING JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: * This role will initially be responsible for hardware replacements on automated medication dispensing cabinets in healthcare environments nationwide * This includes hard drive swaps (training provided) * Site cleanup: submit and closeout all RMA's for project, return/dispose of all unused implementation materials * Communicate with specialists, consultants, project support managers, the account and appropriate personnel about project status, milestones and problems and assist whenever needed to ensure compliance and follow through * Additional responsibilities after training may include: install, configure, and support pharmaceutical hardware / software remotely or onsite; troubleshoot hardware / software and communicate problems with appropriate stakeholders THE IDEAL PERSON FOR FILL THIS ROLE WILL HAVE EXPERIENCE SUCH AS: * Strong technical service background is required * Experience with hardware break/fix (support, repair, replacement, disposal) is required * Availability for national weekly travel is required * Experience working in healthcare environments is strongly desired ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ABOUT THIS ROLE: * Selected candidates must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 before start * 100% travel required (auto & air travel) - must live within 1 hour of an international airport * Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance is required * Must be able to push heavy equipment and have good dexterity for doing routine configuration tasks * Must be willing and able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds with the support of lifting devices * Standing/sitting for prolonged periods of time may be required * Position may require a fair degree of physical activity and motion including pushing, pulling, kneeling, stooping, and bending frequently * Pay grade: 21 * View our benefits and pay grade information here: * Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States WE ARE TSP TSP is award-winning, customer-endorsed, and minority-owned.
