Oscoda Plastics Production SupervisorDuro-Last has an opening for a Production Supervisor position. This position is located in Oscoda, MI. This is a position that offers a great working environment, excellent benefits and opportunities for advancement.Position Responsibilities:Train and coach employees to operate equipment safely in their respective job assignments and follow all safety / equipment SOP'sLead, support and hold employees accountable to produce high quality products Monitor production to eliminate defects ensuring the customer receives a quality, defect free productMonitor scrap and execute plans to minimize scrap in all areasResponsible for shift OEE and optimal equipment output Write and give employee performance reviews and when necessary administer disciplinary actionSupports Lean, 5S, and World Class initiativesPosition Requirements:Bachelor's degree preferred or a combination of 3-5 years of manufacturing supervisor or lead coordinator experience is required Previous experience in a Lean manufacturing environment to include; Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, Kanban and Root Cause Analysis is highly desiredSafety and quality oriented with a focus on continuous improvementMust have good organizational skills and be detail-orientedAbility to schedule productionMust be self-motivated and have the ability to motivate othersMust have excellent communication skills, both written and verbalKnowledge of Microsoft OfficeMust be flexible with schedule and able to work any shiftCompensation & Benefits:We offer a competitive benefit program that includes:Medical, dental and vision insurancePrescription drug programCompany provided life and AD&D insurance Short- and long-term disability 401(k) retirement plan with company contributionPaid vacation12 paid holidaysFlexible Spending Accounts and Health Savings AccountDuro-Last, Division of Holcim Products and Services US LLC. is an equal opportunity employer, which values diversity in the workplace.
