They collaborate closely to understand customer needs, deliver compelling technical presentations and proposals, and provide expert guidance during system implementation. Serving as a key liaison, they design customized security solutions that align with client requirements and industry best practices. By staying updated on emerging technologies and maintaining strong client relationships, the Field Application Engineer ensures exceptional service delivery and customer satisfaction, driving business growth. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: * Partner with the sales team to understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate physical security solutions. * Conduct technical presentations and demonstrations to showcase our products and services to potential clients. * Prepare detailed proposals, including system design, equipment specifications, and pricing. * Collaborate with clients, architects, and engineers to design and customize security solutions that align with their needs and specifications. * Provide technical support and guidance during the implementation and deployment of security systems. * Serve as a subject matter expert on physical security technologies, industry trends, and best practices. * Conduct site surveys and assessments to gather information for accurate system design and proposals. * Maintain strong relationships with clients and partners to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business. * Stay current on emerging technologies and advancements in the physical security industry. * Other duties and responsibilities as required to support the needs of the business * Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, legal regulations, and recommended best practices * Collaborate with all Associates to uphold the company's mission and values WORK HOURS: Monday thru Friday overtime/weekends as required BENEFITS & COMPENSATION: * Competitive pay and bonus * Affordable Medical, Dental and Vision plans * Employer sponsored Short- and Long-term Disability * Employer sponsored life insurance * 401k with company match * Paid Time Off * Career growth & training opportunities * Company credit card PHYSICAL DEMANDS & ENVIRONMENTAL EXPOSURE: The physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. During these travel situations, the associate is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme heat, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Qualifications SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS: * Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant field experience (preferred). * Proven experience in technical sales or sales engineering within the physical security industry. * Deep understanding of physical security systems, including access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and integration solutions. * Strong technical aptitude with the ability to present and explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences. * Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. * Willingness to travel as needed to customer sites. * Proficiency in Bluebeam software and other design tools (preferred). * Proficiency with computer devices (including laptops and smart phones) * Must possess valid driver's license with proof of insurance. * Ability to pass drug screening. * Ability to prove US employment eligibility.
