Maintenance Technician 2nd ShiftDepartment: MaintenanceEmployment Type: Full TimeLocation: Livonia Molding and AssemblyReporting To: Maintenance SupervisorCompensation: $25.00 - $29.00 / hourDescriptionMaintains all production equipment, support equipment and building maintenance as directed by supervisor.Key Responsibilities1. Complete all preventive maintenance activities assigned by supervisor.2. Oil, grease and clean all areas as needed through work orders.3. Troubleshoot and repair all machinery and equipment as generated by work orders.4. Insure safety and housekeeping standards are met.5. May be assigned out-sort work, programs, and/or training, due to upgrades of job title as assessed by management team.6. The following documents will be the responsibility of a maintenance technician for review and/or function. NOTE: All forms are in the Maintenance Office. • Rev B, Equipment Listing. • Power House- Daily PM Checks. • Air Compressor- Monthly PM Checks. • Floor Sweeper- Monthly PM Checks. • Thermolator- Monthly PM Checks. • Dryers- Monthly PM Checks. • IMM Daily and Monthly PM Checks. • Robots Monthly PM Checks. • IMM Quarterly PM Checks. • Floor Scrubber Monthly PM Checks. • Sprinkler System Quarterly Checks. • Conveyor Weekly Checks. • Vacuum Pump Monthly Checks. • IMM Information. • Assembly Fixture Verification - Done daily 7. The following work instructions relate to the function of the forms listed above. NOTE: All work instructions below are in the maintenance office. • Completion of Work Orders. • Equipment Predictive Maintenance Set-up. • Equipment Maintenance.8. Complete additional work assigned by supervisor and/or management team.9. Must have basic knowledge of TS16949 and know the Quality Policy.10. Follow the safety rules, report safety problems and all injuries, regardless of severity.11. Ensure plant safety and 5S housekeeping standards are maintained.Physical Demands:Standing - frequently required on concrete floor when repairing equipmentWalking - sometimes required during repairing or doing maintenanceLifting - frequent lifting from floor to waist levelReaching - frequently extending arms and hands in front of body and below the waist when repairing machinesTurning/twisting - required all the time to perform job functionsBending/stooping - occasionally required*The above statements are intended to describe the general nature of level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification. Experience in an industrial production environment desired, trouble shooting skills, flexible schedule and willing to work overtime on short notice.
