Maintenance Technician

Prior experience with commercial experience preferred.Must be flexible in hours and days workedWorking knowledge of plumbing, painting, HVAC, electrical, and/or other general repair skillsPrior experience with project management, vendor oversight and bid reviewExcellent organization, time management and project management skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsObtain any locally required certification as needed such a forklift certificationMust have a valid Florida Driver's LicenseBasic computer skills requiredMemory retention skills requiredAble to safely operate a utility vehicle such as, but not limited to, golf carts, utility carts, and shuttle cartsRESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIESPerform routine maintenance including light carpentry, drywall repair, painting, caulking, etc.Perform minor adjustments on HVAC systems (filter changes, drain pan inspections, fuse changes, etc.)Repair/Replace locks and service doors and/or hingesMonitor and fix leaks, clogs or other issues related to plumbingRepair lighting (interior, ceiling and cubicle lights, change ballasts)Replace ceiling tiles and performing minor grid workInstall applicable signage and wall décor throughout campusPerform preventative maintenance tasksUtilize CMMS platform to submit, receive and complete work ordersMaintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.Responds to on-call and after-hours emergency situations.Special projects or other duties as assigned.
