Diesel Truck Mobile Service Technician

Kenworth Northeast, a premier independently owned truck dealership, is currently seeking a skilled Diesel Truck Mobile Service Technician to join our team during the 1st shift at our Middleton, MA location. As we embark on an exciting period of growth, we are looking for individuals who share our passion for excellence and our vision for the future.*Salary range for this position is $35 - $50/hour depending on experience*How you will make an impact:Perform general mechanical duties and assist in various technical tasks.Troubleshoot and repair all vehicle systems used in commercial trucks.Diagnose and repair transmission, clutch, and differential failures.Handle troubleshooting and repair of modern vehicle electrical systems.Diagnose and repair HVAC systems in commercial on highway vehicles.Troubleshoot and repair engine systems and failures (Cummins, MX, Cat).Efficiently remove and replace any engine or truck component in a quality manner.Stay updated with supplier specific requirements and ensure they are followed.Proficient with welding, torch cutting, and fabrication.Attend training sessions via electronic classroom; travel within contiguous US for training when needed.Maintain a neat and orderly service truck, and proper handling of company tools.Coordinate with administrative team for scheduling and workload.Follow safe work practices and procedures, use safety equipment when required, respond to suggestions for working safely and seek assistance when necessary.What you will need:Valid Drivers License with a clean MVR.
