3rd Shift Production Supervisor (job description) We have partnered with a Global Industry Leading Printing and Packaging Company in the Cincinnati OH Area to lead a search for their 3 rd Shift Production Supervisor. Position Description: • Manage Finishing/Gluing team members during shift. • Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the department's shift, including Safety, Product Quality, Material Waste, and Labor. • Also, involved in Strategic Planning, Budgeting, Capital Investment, and Organizational Development • 30 direct reports to this Supervisor's shift Primary Responsibilities: • Operational responsibility for the department. • Directs and leads the department to meet objectives. • Responsible for operating cost of the shift. • Supervises associates and others in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. • Manage and implement safety initiatives. • Ensure quality standards are being met. • Create a culture which encourages participation, innovation and process improvement. Foster an environment of commitment and teamwork. • Develop and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers. • Instill a culture of openness, honesty, integrity through solid associate relation practices and communication. Key Performance Metrics: • Spoilage • Labor • Safety • Operating Budget • CCN (Target - internal / external) • Inventory (accuracy > 99%) • Review each of the above as information made available (daily, weekly, monthly, etc.). • Develop action plans to improve moving forward. MACHINES, TOOLS, EQUIPMENT: • 8 color flexographic wide web printing press. • 7.5-ton overhead crane. • Core baler. • Safety knife • Basic hand tools Shift • 3rd Shift - 11pm to 7am
