Licensed Practical Nurse - Temp - Iowa Veterans Home

This is a non-merit temporary position with the Iowa Veterans Home.    Positions in this class are exempt from the screening and referral requirements of the Iowa Department of Administrative Services - Human Resources Enterprises.      Looking for contract or agency work closer to home?  The Iowa Veterans Home is looking for short-term LPNs to join our team working FULL TIME hours, on night shift, for a minimum of 15 weeks or up to 780 hours. Rate of pay is $37.80* for night shift. * Wage of $37.80 is based on employees working a minimum of 80 hours a pay period for 15 weeks. Employees working less will have an hourly wage of $33.52-$37.80. Hours are 8:15 P.M. to 6:15 A.M. Will work 1 out of 3 weekends.  This position is not eligible for benefits. The candidate may apply for a permanent position at the end of the 15 weeks if interested. * All applicants are subject to a Criminal Background Check, Dependent Adult Abuse and Child Abuse Check Applicants must be a current LPN
