Building Maintenance Technician

Warehouse Services, Inc. is currently seeking a building maintenance technician for its operations in the Greenville and Piedmont area. The building maintenance technician assists the maintenance team, including direction, personnel development, oversight of work quality, development and implementation of improvements and measurement of results. This position is responsible for the scheduling of the maintenance activities at multiple facilities.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:• Review work to be performed and identify equipment and tools necessary to complete the work.• Ensure maintenance tasks throughout the facilities are completed according to schedule.• Responsible for the inspection and repair of man doors, dock doors, dock plates, racking and any other additional equipment.• Responsible for inspecting building and grounds and performing general building maintenance including dock levelers, dock doors, racking, plumbing repairs, roofing repairs, HVAC and lighting.• Assist in ensuring building fire systems are working effectively, inspected per NFPA requirements and any deficiencies are reported and corrected timely. • Maintains building and grounds maintenance operational history by initiating and updating records.• Maintains safe work environment.• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.• This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed; they are only the major duties.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:• Building Maintenance experience including Lighting, HVAC, dock doors, dock levelers, electrical and plumbing. • Excellent organizational skills• Any certifications related to maintenance is a plus. • Technical courses and training a plus.BENEFITS:Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance after 90 days of employment.$1500 sign on bonus paid out at 90 days, 6 months, and 1 year anniversary date.ProfitSharing and 401K retirement PlanFree Basic Life InsuranceUniform allowanceSteel toed shoe and prescription safety glasses reimbursementPerformance reviews at 90 days, 6 months and then annual anniversary dateOpportunity for career advancement
