Nuvance Health has a network of convenient hospital and outpatient locations - Danbury Hospital, New Milford Hospital, Norwalk Hospital and Sharon Hospital in Connecticut, and Northern Dutchess Hospital, Putnam Hospital Center and Vassar Brothers Medical Center in New York - plus multiple primary and specialty care physician practices locations, including The Heart Center, a leading provider of cardiology care, and two urgent care offices. Non-acute care is offered through various affiliates, including the Thompson House for rehabilitation and skilled nursing services, and the Home Care organizations. Summary: Responsible for routine, preventative, operational and emergency services relating to physical plant, adjacent buildings and facility-related equipment. Responsibilities: 1. Performs preventative maintenance on equipment as assigned. 2. Completes assigned work orders. 3. Maintains life safety equipment in accordance with NFPA. Prepares documentation. 4. May document file, transport all archive items (NON-H.I.M). 5. Carry house pager and complete tasks. 6. Document and file all equipment manuals. 7. Troubleshoot daily problems as needed. 8. Move offices, furniture. 9. Fulfills all compliance responsibilities related to the position. 10. Performs other duties as assigned. Other information: Required: Mechanical knowledge & basic knowledge of electrical, HVAC & plumbing systems. Familiarity with hand and power tools. Language, mathematical & reasoning ability. Minimum Experience: five years Desired: Plant operation & maintenance experience. Knowledge of safety management. OE-2 preferred.
