Line Mechanic

Work directly for a growing Central New Jersey area full-service contract filler primarily used in the personal care industry.Line Mechanic: Responsibilities & Main Activities (includes, but is not limited to):The Line Mechanic responsibility is to provide assistance to aerosol manufacturing production lines and perform maintenance on machines and equipment"sComplies with established job safety practices, policies and procedures as specified in plant and corporate directives for safe performance of the work assignmentUnderstand the cGMP compliances as it impacts production requirementsMust be familiar with repair, preventative maintenance and daily support of the filling equipment, with specific focus on filling, crimping, aerosolizing, capping, and packaging of aerosol products. Ensure product changeovers are done according to the SOP and work order requirementsMust be flexible to work any shiftProficient in the use of all shop equipment"s to install, maintain and troubleshoots machinery and toolingMaintain work area, tools and shop equipment in a clean and functional mannerMaintain preventative log books accurately and neatlyFabricate, assemble and test parts as neededKnowledge to support of the packaging of aerosol productsPerform inspection of production parts and tooling for conformance to engineering blueprints and diagramsEnsures proper documentation and communication is completed in a timely and accurate fashion, performs other related duties as requiredPerform related duties as assigned by supervisorMaintain compliance with all company policies and proceduresAssist in PM related activities and support lead maintenance team to stay consistent with the PM scheduleWork closely with maintenance team on maintaining critical parts inventory and if required help maintain parts inventory using the CMMS systemJob RequirementsQualifications, Knowledge and Skills:Must have a minimum of 1-3 years manufacturing plant experience, with background in the following areas;Operating High Speed Industrial Processing EquipmentMaintaining Manufacturing EquipmentStrong troubleshooting and analytical skills focus on Mechanical KnowledgeKnowledge of cGMP requirementsKnowledge of OSHA requirementsKnowledge of Hazardous Waste MaterialsKnowledge of Mechanical and Electrical DevicesEffective verbal, listening, and communications skillsCommitted to excellenceGood Team PlayerAbility to work in fast paced environment.Physical Requirements:Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs
