Organizes line workload and staffing for molding operations depending on product priority. Accountable for daily production outputs (metrics) including efficiency, utilization, and productivity.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Ensures ISO and safety standards are adheredLeverages industry practices and applies to internal systems and processesProvides supervision and direction to subordinate staff and coordinates workflow within the operation, including distributing work, disseminating information, assigning staff to cover for absences, providing technical assistance, answering questions, and resolving problems within the work unit supervisedSupervises the development and implementation of training programs within the area supervisedSupport the setup and start-up of injection molding machines.Serves as a liaison between the production and other departments for the distribution and collection of information and to resolve operational issuesReviews work performance, motivating subordinates to work more effectively, identifying problems with performance and solutions to those problems, determining training needs to improve performanceCommunicate daily plan and any production or customer service issuesCommunicate with the opposite shift to ensure communication flowTracks production and ensure all deadlines and schedules are met.Strives for continuous improvement in all areas of responsibility.Monitors daily production outputs including; efficiency, utilization and productivityEnsures line personnel are thoroughly trained, certified and are performing their assigned functionsMotivates and challenges all line members to perform to their full potential through direct and timely formal and informal feedbackReviews all relevant policies and procedures issued to the line and ensure that appropriate employees read, understand, and adhere to themParticipates in the hiring and promoting of staff within the work area supervised, including serving on a panel to interview applicants and making recommendations to superiorsSupervises the maintenance of personnel records and time sheets for staff supervisedOTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsible for identifying quality problems in products.Provide accurate and complete turnover from shift to shift.Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusionsAbility to operate a personal computer including using a Windows based operating system and related software.Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of EPTAM's software packagesHighlight material shortages, interface with Expediter/Purchasing on any part shortagesThe above statements describe the general nature and level of work being performed in this job. They are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties, and indeed additional responsibilities may be assigned, as required.MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:EDUCATION: Trade school graduate or associates degree or a combination of experience and educationEXPERIENCE: 5+ years experience in an injection molding operation, Experience in a 24/7 manufacturing operationLICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS AND/OR REGISTRATIONS: NoneOTHER MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Must possess good written and verbal communication skills with our internal and external customers. Basic knowledge of equipment. Basic ability to read prints and use simple measuring equipment. Basic math skills.Experience with Microsoft Office SuiteADP12062X9-241003-201Weekend ShiftSaturday through Monday (8:00am to 8:00pm). 36 hours with bonus of 4 hours if all the criteria are met.In addition to the noted pay range, there is also a 10% Shift differential for those on the Weekend Day Shift
