Under the supervision of the Manager, performs various duties in support of enhancing the patient experience at South County Health. Specific duties including but not limited to: providing a high level of customer service by interacting with patients, visitors and staff in a professional manner that is proactive, friendly and helpful. Coordinates front desk activity, including volunteers assisting patients and visitors. Actively assess, anticipates, and responds to patient and visitor needs, directing them to South County Health services when appropriate. Asks questions and utilize problem solving skills and judgment to respond to real-time patient issues and determine the appropriate outcome and/or follow-up. Utilizes knowledge of South County Health services, provider and staff roles, and policies and procedures to resolve issues. Ensures that front entrance and lobby are kept clean, organized, and aesthetically pleasing to patients and visitors. Minimum qualifications: High School Graduate or equivalent, some college preferred. Basic computer skills required. Success Factors: Strong commitment to the delivery of customer-focused quality care. Multitasking ability to handle busy service area. Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people using interpersonal and organizational skills. Ability to organize, prioritize, and accomplish projects and tasks.
