This positionis responsible forthe oversight of all programs and processes designed to evaluate,measure,and verify the electric and gas energy efficiency programs/. The programs will be primarilycomprisedof statistical models and analyses intended to document energy and demand savings, provide an understanding as to the outcome and ways to improve current, orassistwith the selection of future programs, and document compliance with regulatory and other government agencies/. This position proposes solutions to issues involving diverse opinions and suggests solutions that are aligned with customer expectations and the Company's business initiatives/. This position also reviews and assesses pertinent codes, guidelines, protocols, energy savings databases and related resources to ensure compliance with savings claims, performance criteria and regulatory standards/. **This is a hybrid role** **Essential Functions:"¯** + Oversees the development of annual and long/-term plans for the evaluation and measurement required to quantify and establish the value of all energy efficiency programs taking into consideration energy savings, capacity savings and environmental benefits/. + Oversees the development and implementation of cost/-effective statistical tests and analyses for the entire portfolio of energy efficiency programs ensuring they are based on credible and transparent model methods and analyses which includes: + Studies of energy and demand savingsimpactson gas and electric energy efficiencyprogram/. + Baseline studies of equipment,buildings,and customer usage patterns + Measuring performance of distributed generation and renewable energy projects + Oversees and guides all evaluation studiesregardingthe potential use of equipment and processes for energy efficiency, renewable or distributed generation/. + Collaborates with other supervisors and managers regarding regulatory policy and assists with the preparation of regulatory filings in support of the Company's energy efficiency programs/. + Collaborates with other supervisors and managersregardingenergy efficiency strategy as it isimpactedby federal and state energy policy,new programsand technology, database system design and customer expectations/. + Coordinates the work supporting the program implementation groups in terms of the evaluation and measurement of new and ongoing programs and technologies/. + Maintains an industry presence through representation and participation in industry related organizations and events/. + Supervises, coaches,developsand assesses staff, and ensures theypossessthe technical and behavioral skillsrequiredto support operating plans/. + Assistswith the establishment and monitoring of goals, policies,programsand performanceobjectives/."¯ **Qualifications:** _Technical Knowledge/Skill:_ "¯ + Requires knowledge in the evaluation and assessment of programs and projects using a wide range of analysis and impact evaluation techniques including engineering and statistical analysis/."¯ + Alsorequires knowledge of the electric and gas industry in either energy efficiency program evaluation, load forecasting, program planning and design, or engineering methodologies for evaluating energy savings/."¯ + Requires familiarity with energy efficiency technologies and their application in all customer sectors/."¯ Requires understanding of regulatory processes and environment including the regulatory filing process/."¯ + Also requires exceptional written and oral communication skills/."¯ + Ability to use PC desktop applications /(e/.g/., excel, access,ORACLEand SAS/)/. _Education:_ "¯"¯"¯"¯"¯"¯ + Requires abachelor's degree in engineering, Economics, Statistics, relateddiscipline,or equivalent experience/."¯ + Master's Degree preferred/. _Experience_ :"¯"¯"¯"¯"¯ + Five /(5/)plusyears in related activities including demonstrated experience working effectively and collaborating with a wide range of internal and external customers/."¯ Compensation and Benefits: + Eversource offers a competitive total rewards program/.
