Job: Millwright MechanicJob description: The Millwright Mechanic is primarily responsible for the layout and installation of mechanical equipment.Responsibilities:A Millwright Mechanic has the following responsibilities and duties:Mechanical equipment settingRigging of material and equipmentDuctwork and steelwork installationDismantle and relocate machinery and equipmentRequirements:A Millwright Mechanic should have the following skills, education, and experience:Travel required. For non-local work, the company provides lodging, a wage premium, and an allowance for travel and foodBasic reading and writing skills; tape measure readingBasic welding skills a plusMinimum of 2 years work experience in a related position is preferredAbility with rigging, crane signals, forklifts, aerial lifts, and telescopic forklifts Familiar with reading mechanical blueprints a plusGoodhart Sons, Inc. is a premier steel fabrication and equipment installer spanning across industries like power generation, cement, chemical, graphics / converting and food handling.
