* Supervise all aspects of employee management to include interviewing/hiring, coaching/development, discipline, and timesheet maintenance. * Directly supervise a team of 12 Law Clerks and assist the Lead Project Manager in supervising a team of 24 Law Clerks and 1 DMA II. * Collect, maintain, and distribute production-related data for Federal Attorney Team Leads and Lead Project Manager using a custom-built application: * Attorney weekly production reports * Track weekly, monthly, and yearly production statistics for purposes of reporting and attorney performance reviews. * Create PowerPoints for team meetings from agenda provided by Federal attorneys. * Create templates for and format Standard Operating Procedures * Track weekly reviewer production for Amentum staff. * Maintain the VCF's internal law firm distribution email list. * Assign claims, including expedites and other priority claims, to claim review team for review. * Organize and maintain example claims for various team discussions/meetings/trainings. * Track changes and update internal and external guidance and policy documents. * Update or create flow charts according to requirements/instructions. * Maintain, update, and improve various internal charts and graphs. * Provide Lead Project Manager with assistance with monthly invoice preparation. * Assist the Lead Project Manager with onboarding/off boarding tasks for Amentum staff. * Create, own, update, and maintain meeting and office hours Outlook calendar invites. * Maintain various collaborative worksheets in Microsoft Office's OneNote. * Review of VCF claims, contributing to overall team productivity while also maintaining first-hand familiarity with the claim review process. Qualifications: * Must be able to obtain and maintain Moderate Risk Public Trust (MRPT) facility credentials/authorization. Note: US Citizenship is required for MRPT facility credentials/authorization at this work location. * Law degree, advanced technical certificate or other pertinent graduate degree preferred. Substantial significant experience may be substituted for degree requirement in some cases. * Extensive knowledge of economic loss models and demonstrated ability to apply economic and non- economic grids. * Advanced knowledge of Government data processing environment, including automation networks, PC-based databases and other applications, and internet and server-based databases and other applications. * Expert skills with MS Excel (intermediate user or higher), MS Access, and other Microsoft Office suite products including, but not limited to word processing, spreadsheet, imaging and hardware systems. * Minimum of 4 years of experience in claim management or processing environments required. * Minimum of 4 years of supervisory or managerial experience on major litigation support projects. Competencies: * Proven capabilities and communication skills to successfully interact with clients and attorneys. * Demonstrate ability to perform complex analysis and/or evaluation work, legal, or financial in nature. * Excel working in an environment with high volume inputs, outputs, and deadlines. * Understand tasks, task objectives, and the context of those tasks in the claim review lifecycle with the ability to work independently to complete tasks, effectively prioritize work; and accurately perform detailed work under pressure without compromising quality. * Excellent task and people management skills. * Highly skilled in coordinating across teams and with other managers, supervisors, and team members.
