Maintenance Technician

We have the perfect position for you. Join the Maglio Companies team as a 1st Shift Maintenance Technician. Responsibilities: * Observes mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to locate causes of trouble. * Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts. * Examines form and texture of parts to detect imperfections. * Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements. * Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments. * Repairs or replaces defective parts. * Installs special functional and structural parts in devices. * Lubricates and cleans parts. * Starts devices to test their performance. * Sets up and operates lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts. * Programs PLC's. * Initiates purchase order for parts and machines. * Repairs electrical equipment. * Performs maintenance on production and office areas. * Perform building upkeep tasks that include but are no limited too painting, sanitation, grounds keeping. * Follows and ensures good manufacturing practices at all times * Follows and adheres to the company's safety program * Other duties as assigned. Requirements QUALIFICATIONS: * 2 years of experience in facilities maintenance experience to include all phases of preventive and corrective maintenance, including industrial and/or commercial facilities maintenance is required. * PLC programming experience. * Basic computer skills.
