We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead and grow our 2nd shift Bindery team in Indy.Our heart beats for talents - be one of them!MM is a global leader in consumer packaging. MM promotes sustainable development through innovative, recyclable packaging and paper products.Your RoleEnsures personnel are working safely, efficiently and are producing good quality product at all times through frequent observation throughout each shift.Through adequate personal knowledge, ensures that all employees understand and follow department procedures.Adjusts assignments as needed when presented with unplanned absences through knowledge of schedule and utilization of employees.Works with Plant Lead Operators to provide effective cross training of employees to maximize shift versatility to meet production needs.Initiates and investigates employee concerns as needed.Ensures all materials are available for each job prior to set up (trays, cartons, shrink film, chip board, and material from cutting).Assists in maximizing production on OT through self-availability and adequate coverage.Consistently enforces company policies.Reviews vacation requests and other attendance events in a timely manner to ensure that employee's time is accurate, and that payroll is met each week without error.Continuously drives productivity and quality improvements that create a world class manufacturing operation.Your ProfileEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: This role requires a minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent education with an Associate degree preferred. The successful candidate must have at least 2 years of previous experience in a similar role managing at least 20 associates. Familiarity with pharmaceutical printing or packaging industry strongly desired. LANGUAGE SKILLS: This role requires excellent verbal, written, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
