Millcroft Living is looking for Maintenance Technician to join our team. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the overall upkeep of residential apartments and public areas through responsive, accurate and efficient maintenance. If you are interested in this position apply online or stop by Millcroft Living to complete a paper application SCHEDULE: Tuesday - Saturday 7am-3:30pm Salary: $19.00- $25.00 - based off experience Essential Job Duties: 1. Performs routine and emergency repairs in residential apartments and public areas including correcting electrical malfunctions, repairing and replacing plumbing fixtures, pipes and fittings, repairing and replacing light bulbs and fixtures, repairing doors and locks, etc. 2. Assists in providing initial response for malfunction of residential HVAC equipment. Performs resets and simple repairs as necessary. 3. Respond to emergency calls for system and equipment failure. 4. Completes all work orders in a timely manner while providing detailed information regarding the task(s) performed along with all prescribed/pertinent equipment information. 5. Will assist other Maintenance personnel, when necessary, in the completion of various projects or repairs including campus snow removal. 6. Assists in maintaining proper levels of materials and supplies for the campus to ensure the timely and efficient completion of necessary tasks. 7. Will be expected to work a reasonable amount of scheduled and "on-call" overtime as necessary. 8. Provide 2 hours of maintenance time for each new resident for all approved activities, only Director of Pant Operations can approve activities. 9. Performs additional duties requested by the Supervisor and the Director of General Services in order to ensure the effective and efficient operation within the community. 10. Attendance is essential to this job. Must also maintain dependability and punctuality as outlined in Attendance policy. 8. Removes snow and ice from roads and walks. 9. Exterior trash removal. 10. Ability to implement and initiate necessary plans to ensure proper maintenance of grounds. Basic computer knowledge and experience. * Experience in grounds maintenance * Experience in HVAC, Electrical and Plumbing * Experience in drywall, painting and carpentry EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or GED required.
