Title: Committee Operations Room Clerk State Role Title: Committee Operations Room Clerk Hiring Range: $26.50 per hour Pay Band: UG Agency: House of Delegates Location: House of Delegates Agency Website: Recruitment Type: General Public - G Job Duties Position Summary: Assist Committee Clerks in the provision of administrative and logistical support of committees and subcommittees to facilitate the legislative process. Primary Duties: Support Committee Clerks in the provision of efficient and professional staff support for legislative committees and subcommittees during the legislative session. Set up committee rooms ensuring that electronic nameplates are correct, notify committee members and bill patrons via iHOD during the meeting as needed, manage public testimony in the ZOOM room, and collect missed votes. Efficiently operate all internal and external software and technology (e.g. iHOD, HOD Speak, and ZOOM). Minimum Qualifications Knowledge, Experience & Skills Used in Position: o Knowledge of House of Delegates committee/commission process and procedures o Ability to work well under pressure and coordinate multiple tasks, effectively communicate, and collaborate with multiple parties to accomplish goals and priorities.
