Stamford Health is looking for a Project Manager to join their Team! The Project Manager (PM) plays a pivotal role in using industry expertise, project management framework and process improvement methodologies to own and drive high priority strategic & operational initiatives across the enterprise. The results-driven candidate displays astute leadership when owning and executing initiatives with high executional importance and holds project teams accountable on behalf of executive leadership, resulting in outcomes such as increased operational efficiencies, strategic growth of the organization, improved patient experience and outcomes, enhanced clinical quality, and propelling transformative work. The PM also exhibits expertise leveraging data to quantify progress using business intelligence tools such as Tableau and Epic's analytics module and provides leaders with valuable and actionable insights to enable data-driven decision-making. Some responsibilities but not limited to are: 1. Own end-to-end project management of all assigned initiatives: define and scope the work and goals, identify resources, determine task dependencies and sequencing, develop detailed workplans with milestones and timelines, delegate and hold project teams accountable, work towards finding solutions, address challenges and deliver and implement tailored solutions successfully and timely. 2. Hold project teams accountable on behalf of executive leaders by creating a sense of shared accountability for all stakeholders contributing to the project's success. Provide regular and ad hoc status updates to all stakeholders and the executive leadership team. 3. Delegate and prioritize for self, others and the overall project. Use appropriate escalation tactics to advance progress and drive projects to completion. 4. Leverage data to quantify progress on initiatives, understand underlying drivers and guide decision-making. Develop effective data analyses and tracking systems to promote high quality outcomes and efficient resource utilization. 5. Build and maintain trusting relationships with all levels of administration, physicians, frontline staff and outside organizations to foster collaboration. Leverage communication skills to influence and lead others, and manage expectations and conflicts. * Master's degree in business administration, healthcare administration or public health is preferred. * Minimum of three years' experience in a healthcare setting performing similar duties and functions, with sound and proven project management & process improvement capabilities, problem solving, analytical experience, facilitation, and presentation skills. * Superior written and verbal communication skills with the ability to appropriately distill information for various audiences. * Strong interpersonal skills to ensure trusting relationships with individuals at all organizational levels, including peers, team members, department leaders, and executive leaders. * Proven track record to work on multiple initiatives simultaneously with attention to detail and ability to commit to tight deadlines. * Expertise in data analysis to understand challenges, generate insights, inform decision making, and determine data-driven approaches to problem-solving. * Proficiency in using business intelligence tools, specifically Tableau, for self-service analytics. * High level of competency with Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint and Excel. * Knowledge of healthcare industry trends, best practices, state and federal regulations, is useful.
