Maintenance Technician II

Job Purpose This role ensures the safe, efficient operation of production machinery through consistent adherence to safety, quality, and productivity standards, while actively maintaining and improving preventative maintenance programs. Additionally, the role involves guiding Level I Maintenance Technicians, supporting production processes, and keeping detailed maintenance records to contribute to overall plant performance. Job Responsibilities * Safety- Consistently adheres to all company safety policies and procedures including adherence to PPE requirements and reporting of near misses / accidents in a timely manner to the Supervisor or Safety Coordinator. * Quality- Consistently adheres to quality policies / procedures and produce quality work which meets or exceeds both internal and external stakeholder requirements. * Productivity- Consistently meets production expectations in a timely and efficient manner. * Teamwork- Consistently demonstrate respect for all stakeholders in the business and work productively and respectfully with others towards team and company goals * Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing of production floor machinery and equipment throughout the plant * Sustain and improve our preventative maintenance programs and maintenance techniques on all machinery and equipment * Assist in directing activities and provide technical direction to Level I Maintenance Technicians in repairing, testing, and troubleshooting equipment * Production support with changeover, product set-up and start-up * Responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled preventative maintenance tasks using company preferred systems * Interact with production supervision and staff to ensure the timely flow of required information * Documentation of equipment maintenance performed * Housekeeping and organization of the work area (5s) as needed Nothing in this document restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.
