Company Overview Livestock Nutrition Center specializes in blending customized rations, supplements and premixes to meet the specific nutritional needs of Livestock Producer's operations. We understand that management, performance objectives and feeding practices can be vastly different between operations, and that these differences dictate specific nutritional or formulation requirements. Our experienced sales staff and nutritionist will work with the Producer to design a feeding program that is specific to their operation. Mission Statement Our Mission is to add value to the suppliers and end users in the feed ingredient supply chain through distribution, processing and service. Guiding Principle Our focus is to provide customized feeding programs, nutritional products, and expert service to livestock producers that promote their long-term success and profitability. Qualifications Position Summary The Project Manager works with the Regional Operations Manager, Location Facility Manager, and Production Manager to develop and execute capital project plans. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following facets of the operation and mixing of feed, depending on the individual's location * Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. * Coordinate and lead project teams, ensuring all members understand their roles and responsibilities. * Monitor project progress, identifying and resolving issues as they arise. * Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status. * Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget. * Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project risks. * Prepare and present project reports to senior management and other stakeholders. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives. * Implement and manage project scope, schedule, and cost changes using appropriate verification techniques. * Monitor project progress, identifying and resolving issues as they arise. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives. * Foster a culture of continuous improvement. * Educate, implement, and strictly enforce all LNC Safety and Compliance procedures at the facility. * Ensure the facility's appearance professionally represents LNC. * Support and lead the Mission, Vision, and Values of LNC. Requirements and Qualifications * Bachelor of Science Degree in Construction Science & Management, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent coursework with ideally 5+ years of successful experience working around a feed/grain milling or Grain handling environment. * Minimum 5+ years successful Project Management experience, preferably within the Ag sector. * Strong leader in building rapport and creating a team environment with all Stakeholders. * Ability to maintain a high level of organization and execution on projects. * A good understanding of OSHA guidelines, along with a Safety mindset. * Excellent communication and leadership skills are required. * Strong sense of customer service with both internal and external customers. * Dedication to team environment. * Ability to multitask and adapt to a fast and ever-changing environment. * Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. * Ability to solve practical problems * To perform this job successfully, individuals must have a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc). * Experience in Programs such as AutoCad, BlueBeam and other drafting software is preferred. * Must be able to travel to Project sites & stay overnight approx. 25% of the time.
