Maintenance Technician

Worldwide manufacturer of high-quality water treatment products in North County San Diego seeks an experienced Maintenance Technician to support its operations based in Poway, California. This is a regular, full-time position and reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor.This position will be assigned to an 8-hour shift.Use of PPE is required at all times.The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing required routine preventative maintenance and repairs, as well as installations and alterations of company equipment, machinery, and fixtures, including electrical systems per the guidelines and specifications set by the company.This also include regular inspection of the company's facilities, performing needed repairs and installations when necessary.The successful candidate will have at least 3 years of hands-on related work experience in a manufacturing environment.Three (3) years of experience as a skilled electrician or other combination of work experience and education that meet the minimum requirements may be substituted.Must be able to read blueprints and schematics; possess strong interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills; be highly motivated and self-directed; possess a keen attention to detail as well as proven analytical and troubleshooting capabilities.Must also be able to maintain cooperative and collaborative work relationships with others.*Certification in electromechanical, PLC, as well as forklift, Genie boom and scissor lift operations is preferred but not required
