Problem Manager/Incident Manager

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Problem Manager/Incident Manager with our client in the financial industry located in New York, NY. This is a 12+ month contract position.  Responsibilities:    Looking for a highly qualified and accomplished Problem Manager to join the Application Production Services (client) team focusing on a cross LOB initiative for adoption of a batch transformation solution and application stability Responsible for activities and execution of a problem management program to achieve application health, improve SLA compliance, and overall stability Coordination of problem process within an ITIL framework, tracking milestones for problem root cause and remediation, and adherence to standards Opportunity to participate in a large-scale project to improve Batch and SLA Management across Application Production Services (client) organizations Work across multiple teams to evaluating existing processes and technologies and then working with a team of experts to execute improvements Requirements:     Strong track record of problem management both process and execution in a large volume financial company and environment Strong Project Management skills Strong technical skills and diverse background in application infrastructure technologies and batch support (databases, job schedulers, Unix, windows, Splunk) ITIL framework and execution Working knowledge or ITSM or equivalent Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal Proven track record of delivering improvements through successful process execution Experience managing distributed batch systems Engineering mindset and passionate about simplifying and improving existing processes and technologies Pay Range: $63.24-$71.24 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
