Contracts and Compliance Manager Our client within the life sciences space in the Conshohocken area is seeking a Contracts and Compliance Manager. This position is onsite two days a week. Responsibilities * Contract Management: * Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize various types of contracts, including client agreements, vendor contracts, and partnership agreements. * Ensure all contracts comply with legal requirements and company policies. * Maintain organized records of all contracts and related documents. * Monitor contract performance and compliance, identifying and resolving any issues. * Compliance Oversight: * Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. * Conduct regular compliance audits and assessments to ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulations. * Stay updated on changes in relevant laws and regulations and ensure the agency's practices are compliant. * Provide training and guidance to staff on compliance matters. * Risk Management: * Identify potential legal and compliance risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. * Work with legal counsel to address and resolve legal issues as they arise. * Ensure that risk management strategies are integrated into the agency's operations. * Client and Vendor Relations: * Serve as the primary point of contact for internal team members regarding contract and compliance-related inquiries from clients and vendors. * Provide support and guidance on contract and compliance matters to internal teams. * Reporting and Documentation: * Prepare regular reports on contract status, compliance activities, and risk management efforts for senior management. * Ensure all documentation related to contracts and compliance is accurate, complete, and up-to-date. * Collaboration and Support: * Collaborate with other departments, such as legal, finance, and operations, to ensure cohesive and compliant business practices. * Support the business development team in contract negotiations and proposals. * Perform other duties and responsibilities as may become necessary and/or directed by Management/CFO. Qualifications * Master's degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field; a JD is preferred. * Minimum of 10 years of experience in contract management and compliance, preferably within the pharmaceutical or advertising industry. * Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. * Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management abilities. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. * Legal expertise in contract law and compliance regulations. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Proficiency in contract management software, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office Suite. * Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. * High ethical standards and a commitment to integrity and transparency.
