Project Manager

As a member of the IT group, the Contract Project Manager will assume responsibility for the support and ongoing system initiatives of the firm's corporate functions. This is a highly visible position, directly supporting existing or new projects and applications across all of the business functions. Responsibilities: * Establish and maintain processes to manage the scope of project lifecycles * Develop business/functional requirements for information delivery implementations * Initiate incident resolutions via our bug/enhancement tracking system and follow-up to ensure completion of tasks * Conduct system requirements analysis at the code and data level * Research, track and communicate business issues and software defects related to projects and level two applications support * Communicate status updates to stakeholders * Approach our internal clients with a customer focus Qualifications: * Minimum of 8-15 years of experience working as an IT Project Manager and/or Business Systems Analyst in the financial services industry * Strong technical background in data integration in the financial services industry * Three or more years of experience in security master data and interfaces to downstream applications * Experience with data governance and data management practices * Demonstrated project, resources and time management skills to facilitate multiple projects in an independent or team environment * Solid understanding of system development methodologies and techniques, and an excellent grasp of database concepts and principles * Ability to take initiative, manage and communicate change in a solutions oriented manner * Outstanding interpersonal skills to communicate, listen, problem solve and make decisions * Strong business, analytical and technical writing skills * Flexible and able to work in fluid environment with changing priorities
