Shipping/Receiving Clerk Our people are the heart of our business. In addition, you will: * Maintain shipping and receiving area as needed. * Assist with loading and unloading trucks. Schedule truck shipments, UPS, and FedEx as needed. * Interact with customers as needed to clarify or communicate discrepancies and schedules. * Inspect and record incoming and outgoing orders for count, damage, dates, etc. * This position will allow for cross-training and the development of additional skills. We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications: * This position must satisfy ITAR compliance requirements, therefore candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Permanent Resident Card Holders. * Education - High school diploma or equivalent preferred. * Minimum one year experience in computer applications including Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new software programs related to function. * Some shipping experience is desired. * Must demonstrate the ability to read, write, and communicate the English language. * Must be able to obtain and maintain forklift certification. This position requires the following physical and mental demands consisting of, but not limited to the following: * Manual dexterity to perform data entry functions. * Ability to bend, pull, stoop, and reach to perform functions. * Ability to lift 50 lbs. * May be exposed to heat, fumes, noise, and humidity, etc. * Visual acuity to read documents, computer screens, files, etc. * Ability to hear in person and via phone.
