In a typical day, your expertise: * Physically receives and accurately verifies material on the receiving loading dock * Processes receipts of goods and services against open purchase orders * Supports warehouse layout reorganization and set up as necessary * Drives a fork truck and utilizes a pallet jack as needed * Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections * Maintains accurate inventory reporting data based upon receipts and disbursements * Prepares finished goods for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product * Coordinates the scheduling of shipments with various logistics carriers * Accurately documents product receipts and shipments in appropriate files * Ensures proper and safe removal of all waste/recycle materials * Maintains clean and safe work area, following 5S standards * Proactively leads continuous improvement efforts to improve profitability, competitiveness, reliability, quality, safety, areas of responsibility * Adheres to and promotes applicable Policies, Procedures, Safety Rules & Regulations and Security Guidelines * Other duties and responsibilities as required for the successful operation of business (This position will have access to technology and/or software source code that is subject to U.S. export controls. U.S. person as defined in 8 U.S.C. 1101(a)(20) or who is a protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) We're thrilled to find candidates with: * High school diploma or equivalent * Minimum one year experience driving a forklift, current certification preferred * Minimum one (1) year experience working in a warehouse or loading dock facility * Intermediate computer skills * Basic mathematics skills * Fluent mastery of the English language * Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles preferred Other competencies critical to success include: * Strong collaboration skills and willingness to support other functions, as able and necessary * Dependable, including reliable attendance. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills with internal and external stakeholders * Able to work independently in a structured manner, take initiative and complete processes as directed * Structure and accuracy in daily work, with ability to perform in fast-paced environment * The ability to read and apply Standard Operating Procedures, Standard Work and Work Instructions * High focus on working safely and supporting a culture of safety * Willingness to adhere to and promote the NTi values of glí¸d, collaboration, creative curiosity, trust, respect, and integrity Physical Requirements: * The ability to stand/walk on concrete floors for 8 or more hours during the course of a day * Manual dexterity of the hands and fingers * While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to feel objects, tools and controls, and operate a computer * The ability to sit in front of a computer for 2 or more hours daily * Ability to lift 50 pounds with or without assistance * Good vision (20/40) with or without corrective devices * The ability to lift, bend, stoop, and walk up/down stairs and ladders While the physical demands described above are generally representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this role, reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the functions.
