What we offer: Competitive pay Full benefit package 401k matching Tuition Reimbursement Position Overview: This position is accountable for the day-to-day safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the site and is responsible for the R2 Operations department. Assist Unit Manager in hiring, training, and developing Operators, promoting accountability culture on site. What you will be doing: Responsible for the overall safety of unit employees. Responsible for any environmental situation within the unit. Responsible for Unit Audits / Observations (i.e. Permit Audits, JSAs, Operator Rounds, My Check 5...). Responsible for holding unit employees accountable. Participates / Conducts weekly safety meetings. Attend and conduct required Tier meetings. Keep the operations SOPs/EOPs/COPs up to date. Coordinate priorities of work order with maintenance department through Planning and Scheduling meetings. Review, edit, and approve site's SAP work notifications into work orders Oversee daily operations. Review & approve timecards and vacations. Write daily production instructions. Prioritize/authorize daily work order Break Ins to maintenance schedule. Periodically serve as On Duty Supervisor. Supervise contractors as needed. Follow Life Saving Behaviors. Use Stop Work. Investigate all assigned incident investigations in a timely manner. Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent, a degree in a manufacturing curriculum, engineering or related field is preferred. 5 + years of proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a manufacturing environment Strong understanding of production process and quality control Skills Excellent leadership and team management skills Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail Effective communication and interpersonal skills Ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines Proficient in using production management tools and production software (SAP,ADP) Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekend if necessary
