The Chester County Intermediate Unit (CCIU) has an opening for a Licensed Practical Nurse at the Child & Career Development Center in Coatesville, PA. Duties & Responsibilities: * Administer tube feedings. * Administer medications as prescribed by a doctor on a daily basis. * Documentation of prescription medication administration to students in electronic medical system. * Implement seizure precautions and treatments. * Attend field trips and community-based trips. * Provide tracheostomy care and, if needed, replacement of tracheostomy tube. * Support with toileting routines in the nurse's office. * Provide first aid and emergency care for injuries and illnesses. * Implement nursing care plans as prescribed. * Other duties as assigned Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in nursing required OR LPN program completed required * Current registered nurse licensure required OR LPN licensure required * Experience working with special needs children preferred. * Current police, child abuse and FBI Fingerprint clearances required (must be dated within one year of hire date).
