KEY ACTIVITIES * Implement Sunroc mission (Building a Better Community) and core values (We Value People, Our Word is Our Bond, Always Give a Full Measure, We Continuously Improve). * Perform inspections and preventative maintenance of wash plants, portable screens, asphalt plants and aggregate crushers. * Be responsible for installing new and maintaining old equipment at job sites. * Diagnose, rebuild, and repair equipment. * Coordinate and communicate needed repairs on equipment. * Responsible for safe operation and securing equipment. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS * Mechanical aptitude. * Basic Welding & Fabrication Knowledge. * Basic Electrical Knowledge. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE * On the Job Training (OJT) will be provided. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS * Ability to lift 50 lbs. without assistance. * Ability to work in an outdoor environment in all weather conditions. * Ability to Stand, Kneel, Crouch & Climb Safely on and around mobile equipment. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS * Must be 18 years or older. * Documentation that proves eligibility to work in the U.S. * Attention and commitment to safety. * Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
