The candidate must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and know when to elevate concerns to ensure that support is going to the correct area of the business. The ideal candidate for Production Coordinator will be a proactive go-getter that will put forth an enthusiastic, positive, solution-based effort to manage various teams, projects, and productions in a busy, dynamic, fast, creative, and evolving environment. Primary Responsibilities: • Support Production Managers and Production team to coordinate and handle logistics for video shoots across the domestic US and internationally. • Support Production Management team with various projects, shoots, and departmental needs. • Assist with preliminary budgeting and vetting of projects • Source crews, equipment, and production services as necessary for production • Research and file for permits as needed • Research local production guidelines for compliance • Arrange resources and logistical support as necessary for production • Maintain and update departmental crew lists • Initiate Payroll Paperwork to Freelance Crew and DayPlayers • Follow-up to ensure that Start Paperwork is completed in advance of work • Follow-up to ensure that Timecards are submitted in a timely manner • Maintain and update departmental contact, vendor, and resource lists. • Establish new Vendor accounts and provide instructions regarding invoicing process, policies, technical specs, etc. • Originate Vendor Contracts • Initiate Purchase Orders for expenses • Track and report expenses, code & process invoices, and reconcile PCards. • Maintain various departmental shoot calendars, spreadsheets, reports, and documents. • Archive production documents such as call sheets, wrap reports, and releases, and follow-up as necessary with production teams to ensure business requirements are being met and delivered in a timely manner. • Additional duties as required to maintain efficient and effective production environmentDesired Skills and Qualifications: • Minimum of 2 years of relevant Production Management experience in the television, media, or digital video production realm required • College degree required • In-depth understanding of payroll practices and labor laws. • Knowledge of physical production protocols, equipment, contracts, releases, accounting/finance practices, and business affairs requirements. • Must be computer savvy with skills in G-Suite by Google Cloud (Google Sheets), and various project management softwares. • Ideal Candidate must be highly organized, extremely detail-oriented, and efficient • Ideal Candidate should be self-starter who takes initiative. • Ideal Candidate must work well under pressure to meet deadlines. • Ideal Candidate must have professional and effective communication skills. Salary is also commensurate with experience.This is a guild position.The expected base salary range for this position is from $65,000-$68,000.
