Job Type Full-timeDescriptionOVERVIEWCadrex is searching for a Customer Service Representative who will be responsible for entering and processing assigned customer orders received by mail, fax, email, or customer portals/websites. Acts as a first point of contact for customer issues and inquiries. Ensures customer order information is accurate. KEY RESPONSIBILITIESReviews purchase orders prior to order entryVerifies purchase orders received for accuracy in part numbers, price and billing information Enters customer orders, changes, and other data into the computer systemReceives orders, tracks progress of orders with various internal teams, and follows up on customer inquiries and issues, order shortages, shipment discrepancies, and/or damaged productConfers with production, shipping, warehouse, and third-party carriers to expedite or trace missing or delayed shipments, or order shortagesProvides timely and accurate information to customers on order status and product knowledge requestsPartners with shipping staff to ensure correct delivery terms and customer requirements Participates in inter-company meetings such as Production, Strategic Customer Service and Customer Service staff meetingsManages inventory programs for applicable customers to include reviewing forecasts, managing on hand inventory, and running Pull reports Answers phone, mail, and email queries and correspondenceMaintains open order reports for individual customers and provides updates and tracking information Maintains customer name and shipping informationRecords and files ordersRequirementsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS1+ years' related experience in a high-volume manufacturing setting preferred Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Write simple correspondence ? Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals ?
