Deals with unexpected situations, for example emergency calls, and will be on an on-call rotation with CHN's other Maintenance Technicians. Sign out proper materials and equipment if needed to complete all of the day's work orders. Completing all necessary paperwork per work order to include hours' work and inventory used/returned. Responsible for proper use and return of all equipment checked out. Responsible for work to include general carpentry, siding, small roofing repairs, drywall repair, painting, flooring repairs to include sub-floor and VCT, minor concrete repairs, minor plumbing and electrical work and other general home repairs. Will follow all CHN/CHN Maintenance procedures and policies. Work overtime if needed to complete days' work Other duties as assigned.Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:Required:Education: High School Diploma or equivalentExperience: Minimum 5 years of general remodeling and carpentry Experience in general labor/home maintenance and repair with background in carpentry and general remodeling of single-family homesSkills: Embodies staff enthusiasm, teamwork, and professionalism Able to lift 50+ lbs Ability to give high level of Customer service Ability to work independently, strong work ethic Organizes task and manages time effectively. Works to meet deadlines Outstanding attention to detail Other duties as assignedOther: Must have reliable transportation an acceptable attendance recordWorking Conditions and/or Physical Requirements: Ability to perform essential job functions consistent with ADA, FMLA, and other standards.
