KI is seeking a Transportation Planner to join our Transportation team based out of our Corporate Headquarters in Green Bay, WI. The Transportation Planner will use their transportation knowledge and understanding of customer delivery preferences to create an optimal delivery plan for the Project Coordinator to present to the installer or end customer. After the delivery plan is approved, you will be responsible for executing the plan by setting up shuttles in BPCS, updating delivery schedules, and preparing orders to be built into shipments. The Transportation Planner will also manage load creation and tendering from the BluJay TMS and work with carriers and shipping dock personnel on the shipping execution process. You will also work with the Project Coordinator to provide solutions for our customer's special delivery requests, manage delivery exceptions, and process freight payment. In this role you will routinely will need to make decisions that balances cost and quality objectives for KI and work with KI's carriers and shipping docks to continuously improve the shipping and delivery process.
