Job description Position Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to oversee and deliver IT-related projects while also providing project management support for initiatives across various departments that require IT coordination. This role demands a strategic thinker with a strong background in IT project management, coupled with the ability to collaborate effectively with non-IT departments to drive successful project outcomes.Duties & Responsibilities:IT Project Management: Lead and manage IT-specific projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring they meet scope, budget, and timeline requirements. This includes system implementations, software development, infrastructure upgrades, and other technology-focused initiatives.Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Act as the liaison between IT and other departments, assisting with projects that involve IT components but fall outside the IT department. Ensure alignment of IT resources and expertise with departmental needs.Project Planning & Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans that outline scope, deliverables, timelines, resource allocation, and risk management. Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to ensure successful completion.Stakeholder Management: Engage with stakeholders across the organization to understand their needs and expectations. Provide regular updates on project status and address any issues or concerns promptly.Budget & Resource Management: Manage project budgets, including cost estimation, tracking, and financial reporting. Ensure efficient use of resources and adherence to financial constraints.Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Proactively address and resolve issues that could impact project delivery.Quality Assurance: Ensure all project deliverables meet quality standards and business requirements. Implement and monitor processes for continuous improvement.Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation and prepare detailed reports for stakeholders and management. Ensure all project documentation is complete, current, and accessible.Other: Other duties as assigned.QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field. PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification preferred.Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years focused on IT projects. Experience managing cross-departmental projects involving IT is highly desirable.Skills: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, strong organizational and leadership skills, and excellent problem-solving capabilities. Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana) and IT systems.Knowledge: Deep understanding of IT project management methodologies and best practices. Familiarity with IT infrastructure, software development life cycles, and integration processes. Knowledge of business processes outside IT is a plus.Attributes: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
