We work in a growing industry to warehouse and distribute merchandise for online sellers, shipping millions of products to people all across the world, and we want you to be a part of it!As a family-owned e-commerce order fulfillment business, we have a comfortable and friendly atmosphere that accommodates a growing and diverse team.Job PurposeAssist with the day-to-day operations of all stock/inventory functions to ensure that client's orders are fulfilled and inventory requests/issues are handled in a timely manner; with continuous focus on maximizing productivity, efficiency & accuracy.Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform daily inventory control functions to ensure inventory requests/issues (both internally or by clients) are handled in a timely manner.May occasionally assist stockers who are responsible for pulling inventory to fulfill orders and keeping all zones stocked and organized. Work directly with the supervisor on any stock/inventory related projects such as physical counts or warehouse organization.Communicate with Inventory Supervisor on critical department issues.Ensure a safe workplace by enforcing all safety rules and by promoting awareness and accountability.Proficient in operating all equipment within the warehouse; including forklifts, reach trucks, computer system and pallet jacks.Perform any additional duties as requiredQualificationsEducation: The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma. Must be able to operate a fork lift, reach truck, and pallet jacks (manual & electronic) as well as our computer system. Must be highly organized and efficient; excellent time management skillsAble to work in a fast paced environment as well as multi-task.Have a positive attitude and be adaptable. Ability to communicate effectively with management, clients & staff both verbally and in writing.Working Conditions Inventory/order volume fluctuations may create a necessity to occasionally work overtime and/or week-ends. The working environment is consistent with a typical warehouse; exposure to noise and dust as well as changes in temperature and lighting. Equipment, such as Fork Lifts, is consistently used throughout the warehouse. Physical Requirements The ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, twist, bend, push and pull the entire length of your shift (generally 8 hours). Be able to climb ladders, handle heights and lift client merchandise from 0-75 pounds from zero to 8 hours per day.
