Sr Production Planner

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Production Planner to join our team. The Senior Production Planner will be responsible for developing and managing production schedules, ensuring on-time delivery of high-quality aluminum investment castings, and working directly with customers to meet their needs. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement detailed production schedules to meet customer demands and optimize resource utilization. Work closely with customers to understand their requirements, manage expectations, and ensure timely delivery of products. Utilize customer portals to track order status, address any issues, and communicate updates effectively. Ensure production schedules account for thorough quality checks and compliance with industry standards. Collaborate with various departments, including operations, procurement, engineering, and quality, to ensure smooth and efficient production flow. Track and analyze production metrics using ERP systems to identify areas for improvement. Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods to prevent shortages or excess stock. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business, Operations Management, or a related field, or equivalent proven experience as a Production Planner in a manufacturing environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on meeting customer needs. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. Proven experience in working with customer portals and managing customer relationships. Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus. Experience using ERP Systems (Epicor)
