**Job Description Summary** In this position you will be responsible for the building's preventive maintenance, repair, and project work which supports the GE Healthcare Nuclear Medicine Manufacturing Business. You will be working in a high-level laboratory environment maintaining both facility and manufacturing equipment. The Maintenance Associate assists with managing the daily compliance workloads, interacting with all departments including Safety, Manufacturing, and Engineering. Our Pharmaceutical Diagnostics (PDx) business is the number one global supplier of contrast media and molecular imaging agents used to enhance medical imaging exams. Used throughout all major disease area diagnostic and treatment pathways, PDx products support three patients every second around the world. Eligible for a $3,000 sign-on bonus! **Job Description** **Roles and Responsibilities** + Adhere to internal Quality Policies and procedures as they pertain to the position to ensure that all products are safe, pure, effective and of the highest quality. + Perform maintenance and repairs in the following areas: plumbing, mechanical, electrical wiring, pneumatics, motors, pumps, HVAC equipment and vacuum systems. + Maintain and service manufacturing process water systems including boilers, demineralized water systems and pure steam generators including controls, pumps, sensors, valves, and tanks. + Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of the site's manufacturing equipment lines. + Periodically will be required to work a 7 days on-call rotation. + Comply with all applicable Environmental Health & Safety (EHS)and Radiation Safety procedures. + Demonstrated communication skills with the ability to work independently. **Required Qualifications** + High School diploma/GED and 5 years of work experience in a facilities/manufacturing maintenance role or technical school degree/certifications and 1 year of work experience in a facilities/manufacturing maintenance role. + Basic knowledge and troubleshooting of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and/or manufacturing equipment. + Good aptitude with Microsoft Office Suite and possess general computer knowledge. + Climb stairs, ladders. and work at heights, including operation of scissor lifts and powered industrial trucks. + Routinely lift to 50 lbs. and experience using material handling equipment. + Wear and work in protective clothing, including respiratory protection, confined space entry and clean room environments. **Desired Characteristics** + Read and interpret schematic drawings. + Experience working in a healthcare manufacturing environment. + Prior experience performing work as an Occupational Radiation Worker. + Prior experience working with Automated Building Management Systems. + Working knowledge and troubleshooting of Programmable Logic Control (PLC) manufacturing equipment.
