FIELD MECHANIC

The Field Mechanic supports the farming operations for multiple locations. Maintenance and repairs of tractors, harvesters and field equipment.Essential FunctionsDiagnose and repair all equipment used in the farming operation.Have tools necessary to preform repairs of equipment.Work with Supervisors and field staff.Be able to complete assign tasks in correct and timely manner without direct supervision. Knowledge & SkillsMechanical, electrical and hydraulic knowledge to complete repairs.Ability to fill out Maintenance Repair forms in English.Apply safety procedures and principles on a daily basis and protect yourself and others from injury.Experience with agricultural equipment. Knowledge of diesel motors.Light fabrications and welding.Small engine repair.Ability to read and understand company policies and procedures and implement appropriately.QualificationsValid California Driver's License Clean driving recordHave tools necessary to preform repairs of equipment.Be ready and able to commit to harvest with extended hours.Ability to work varying hours, some weekends, and varying schedules
