Job Type Full-timeDescriptionThe Customer Service Representative is responsible for phone contact with patients to collect payment for medical bills on behalf of our clients. This involves working in a fast-paced call center environment to establish contact with customers to negotiate payment and/or set up payment arrangements to collect on account receivables.Duties/ResponsibilitiesProvide exceptional patient service in the name of the clientContact patients via telephone to collect payment on medical billsCommunicates accurate information to patients in a clear, concise and professional mannerReview patient accounts and documents patients' interaction and feedbackNegotiates appropriate and reasonable payments with customersSets up patient payments via check, electronic transfer or credit cardResponsible for understanding and complying with all policies and proceduresMeets or exceeds established goalsWorks closely with team leads, management and client to resolve disputes and ensure patient satisfactionAll other duties as assigned by managementRequired Skills/KnowledgeCustomer/Client FocusCommunication ProficiencyConfidentiality/IntegrityTeamwork OrientationBasic computer skills necessaryEducation/ExperienceCustomer service experience preferredPrior medical billing or healthcare revenue cycle experience strongly preferredHigh school diploma or General Education Development (GED) Certificate requiredOne to two years of college preferred
