Job Overview The role of Supervisor, Engineering and Facilities is responsible for ensuring the facility, manufacturing, packaging and support equipment are all maintained to a high standard while meeting cGMP and EHS standards. The Supervisor is also responsible for planning, organizing and directing engineering services for capital projects, continuous improvement projects and overall facility maintenance activities. The role provides technical and engineering expertise and support to all plant departments as needed. Responsibilities Leads design, qualification, and maintenance of equipment, building space allocation and layout, and facility expansion. Coordinate and manage needed support from outside contractors and equipment manufacturers. Ensures facility/equipment/utilities meet all relevant Health, Safety and Environment requirements. Maintain an appropriate staffing plan to support business needs, while developing team members in Maintenance, Facilities and Engineering to perform to their optimum potential. Oversee the daily functions of the maintenance and technicians in a pharmaceutical environment. Coordinate with various departments with bringing in new process and manufacturing equipment including validation, automation, and quality assurance. Ensures timely closure of quality actions such as Audit Actions, NCR's, CAPA's, and implements corrective/preventive actions. Provide strong, consistent leadership to maintain company policies, while providing a positive work environment to inspire & motivate workforce. Promote and develop "TEAM" environment within the organization. Maintain the Master Service Agreements for the equipment and facilities and liaise with the service providers for periodic reviews. Ensure a strong understanding of current best practices in the reliability and maintenance industry and deploy them in the plant operations. Increase Safety Awareness, conduct monthly safety training meetings and address any safety issues and concerns and ensures that facility/equipment/utilities meet all relevant Health, Safety and Environment requirements. Availability to work Overtime: Based on work demands overtime maybe required: Daily, Weekends (Sat & Sun) and/or Holidays. Excellent leadership skills. Must be able to organize, coordinate and direct employees and contractors. Qualifications - Skills & Requirements The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and the ability to multitask. Previous experience in pharma or regulated environment is a must. Education & Experience Associate's degree in Engineering with 10 years of experience. Up to 3 years of managerial experience in manufacturing and packaging facilities. working in pharma, cosmetic, or FMGC industries.
