We are seeking a Maintenance Mechanic II to support and oversee equipment, patient care, and sustainability. This Individual will: * Maintains the safe operation and maintenance of building facilities and has a proven competency in one of the following areas; electrical/wiring, mechanical/HVAC systems, plumbing/pipefitting or Plant Operations/Stationary Engineer. * Repairs and adjusts doors, windows, closures, panic devices and locks. Patches holes, installs escutcheons, repairs ceiling and floor tile as needed to maintain building appearance. * Makes minor masonry and wood repairs * Installs pictures, coat hooks, other wall hung furnishings, and equipment as requested. * Performs preventive maintenance activities, responds to customer complaints, and repairs equipment. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: * A high school diploma or equivalent. * Minimum of 3 years experience in building maintenance. * Working knowledge in their area of competency of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, Plant operations, structural, or general carpentry. * May require a valid Georgia driver's license and insurable driving record. * Some positions within this classification may require the ability to lift 50 pounds and to bend, stoop, and twist.
